Did you know, the majority of antique clocks are capable of being good time keepers if properly cared for, even those which may be hundreds of years old. In order to ensure these clocks last for generations to come and to enable them to continue to keep good time and not wear out, it is important to have them cleaned and serviced at regular intervals – even when no problems are evident.
Over the coming years, demand for time-served craftsmen to increase due to the high public interest in the antique world over recent years. If antiques such as clocks are to remain heirlooms and continue to increase in value, these experts with their finely honed skills will be indispensable.

Based in Lancaster, thus making me ideally situated to cover North Lancashire and South Cumbria, with repairs further afield by arrangement. My experience spans 47 years, having served a traditional apprenticeship on leaving school, over the years I have repaired and restored a huge variety of clocks ranging from the humble alarm clock to the grandeur of town hall clocks.
Only traditional skills’ and techniques, using the best of materials and cleaning fluids, ensuring great care is always taken during the repair and restoration process.
Repairs may be carried out ‘in situ’ or collected for workshop repair and/or restoration.
